September 20

Judy had her first chemo yesterday.  She felt a little nauseous, but was still up for a ten minute walk.  Today, she was feeling well enough to start organizing closets and make a trip to get her eyebrows braided.  When I got home from work, she was in the garage messin' with my stuff.  I really hope she didn't throw out any of my 8 track tapes.  Judy felt hungry enough to eat baking soda biscuits with cheese sauce and we also had farmer's sausage.  She's eating well.  After each chemo treatment, she has to wear a chemo pump for an additional 46 hours so she has her pump removed tomorrow.  Next chemo is October 3.

  1. To Judy, your strength in this journey is amazing. I was saddened to hear about your dad. I was away this summer and didn't know about his passing. My deepest sympathies. My dad 's name is Ken too and I was in the UK visiting him. He turned 92.

I am enjoying reading this blog and the many hats you are wearing is inspirational. Ukele and interns + life at home makes you very busy . so glad there was a beautiful wedding this summer.
Trish gave me the link to your blog.
    Best wishes
