I went up to see my two patients this morning. Judy will be getting her staples and her abdominal drain out this afternoon. We went for a long walk this morning and she is feeling good. On our walk, we went to see Judy's dad who is now on the ward one floor up from Judy. The plan is for Judy to be out this weekend.
Judy's dad is still in rough shape, but he hasn't lost his sense of humour. He was telling Judy how to fix her hair.
The plan to put Judy's dad in a halo vest has changed. The tentative plan is to keep his neck immobile this weekend, then he will have a surgery on Monday to fuse the fractured vertabrae.
