Judy's Dad

Now I have two people to visit in RUH.  Yesterday, Judy's dad tripped on the curb outside the building where he lives.  He fell flat on his face - literally.  At first, we thought it was just a matter of stitches to  his face and hands, but x-rays revealed he has a fractured vertabrae C2.  He is undergoing surgery this morning to have a halo vest complete with screws into the skull.  It is going to be a long period of recovery.  His face is really a mess.  I am not sure how many stitches he has.  The end of his nose was nearly ripped off.  So sad.  Poor guy.
