The hair is washed and, if you can imagine this, everything is organized on her table. It was another one of those days when you could see progress. Two of her 3 abdominal drains were removed today. She is off oxygen. The ng tube will come out either tonight or tomorrow. Incisions are looking good and the pain is manageable.
The puffiness in her face, hands, arms, and feet is all but gone. She is feeling well enough to read for short periods of time. She is even talking about how she plans to be up to the lake for a visit before the end of August.
Sister Audrey took The Queen Mother up to see Judy today. I will get a report from Judy on the royal visit later this evening.
I am off to meet Mary (A.K.A. Anastasia) at the airport. Haley (A.K.A.) Drizelda is having a blast in Costa Rica. She took surfing lessons and actually rode a wave 5 times.
